Abstract: Sharp threshold is a phenomena that characterizes abrupt change of behavior in a phase transition. In this talk, we prove that the two-dimensional model obtained by running Glauber dynamics up to some finite time yields a percolation model that presents a sharp threshold. The proof is based on special properties of a graphical construction of the model that allows us to pass from annealed to quenched measurements. Based on a joint work with C. Alves, G. Amir, and A. Teixeira .
